Just watched the news - they interviewed a girl who said she knew the shooter had that gun for at least a week and that all his friends were aware he carried that gun to school for a week! Holy Cow! Are kids today so jaded that they are not afraid of a gun in school?
Disciplinary action needs to taken against that girl and anyone else who knew about the gun and use them as an example as to what consequences there are for not coming forward. I hope she can sleep at night knowing that she and anyone else who knew about this gun could have prevented a death of a child.
I did not see anyone ask for leniency for the shooter and since the girl made the statement on tv I would say she has "snitched" on herself.
Has anyone heard where the gun came from?

It may have been a family piece or even the same one the sister used when she murdered someone a few weeks back. I have $100 that I will bet he didn't obtain it legally.

Well, since he was a juvenile, it would be difficult for him to obtain a gun legally. Rolleyes

Cool - you agree with me that he got it illegally? See how easy that was?

The issue is not whether I agree or disagree that was just simple. People also get college educations illegally your point is?

I take it you agree that juveniles should be able to legally obtain guns from you statement.

Obama's new vice president seems to be the authority on kids/guns - ". . . Sen. Joseph Biden (D-Delaware) claim that "135,000 children carry a gun to school every day." That is way more than JustMe said. And you know a dim could never be wrong or exaggerate statistics to push for more unnecessary gun control?

I have never promoted gun control but with people like you packing I could become an advocate for it.

IMHO, just IMHO. I have a problem with radicals on either side of the spectrum and you lean way too right for me.

I realize this is just semantics, but if it were a "family piece" then he did not obtain it illegally.

Do you store ALL your firearms properly with a gun lock?

You are technically right on the ownership part, however; a juvenile still cannot legally possess a firearm except for valid hunting reasons and with proper hunter safety training.
