Did anyone have the opportunity to watch the opening ceremonies last night? I thought they were magnificant. The synchronization and costumes were unbelievable. 15,000 participants and not one a repeat performer.
$3 BILLION dollars to create such a beautiful set up for the Olympics = YOUR hard earned taxed dollars at work.

Thank you Walmart.
Totally off topic, but since you brought it up - I'm proud to say that so far, I've spent less that 1% of the money I did last year at Wal-Mart. My quality of life is better for it and my pocketbook seems to be as well.
Trina - That's actually why I said "YOUR".

Personally (and this is MY opinion only)...I can't stand that place. I don't like the feeling of "shopping" in a warehouse. I haven't shopped at any of the locations in about two years. I really wish we had a Target. In my opinion, Target is cleaner, a nicer layout, the employees seem happy and the fruits and vegetables aren't bruised. I too have saved quite a bit of money by not shopping at the "W".

In fact, have you ever checked out the packaged meat there? There's 20% water solution added to them to help them freeze faster and stay frozen longer! If the sticker says you're paying $5.00 per pound, you're ACTUALLY paying $6.00 a pound!!! THAT is slick marketing.
I like Target, but I get most of my needs met in Oak Ridge - Kroger, K-Mart, Mickey's, UGO, etc.

That's why we call it "Walmeat". Their meats and produce suck. That reminds me, I left of J&M's. Can't always afford to shop there, but do when I can. Their filets are the BOMB! Better than any steak house I've ever been to.

PHELPS DID IT AGAIN!!!
Oh JM, tell me you're keeping up with the hype!!

Go to: http://www.msn.com and you'll see that Michael Phelps won yet another GOLD for the US. This kid's on a roll!!
Yeah, I'll stay up to watch that one too.

China's men are really going to town in the gymnastics. I heard on television that they start training at three years old...wow. They are all about balance and form.
So the chat is about. They used a little girl lip sync the national anthem, perhaps they should have hired Millie Vanilli.
