Indianapolis Public Schools is one of the worst in the nation, only 19% of males graduate, so this was instituted to bring a more serious approach to school. I think it's great and so do most parents.

KC Chief's clothing is a favorite of some blood sets. Comes from the chiefs stands for "Crips Hated In Every F--king State." North Carolina blue is popular around these parts.
I think the school systems might be as smart as you and know what NOT to allow. I wore uniforms for 12 years and had no problem with them at all. Learning was serious, so was discipline. When you woke up in the morning to get ready for school you were not thinking about what so and so was going to wear and what you needed to wear to be socially accepted. You all wore the same. Although some might see this as taking away individuality I found it to be a good thing. You are in school to learn. You can be an individual on your time

I think anybody that wears a KC jersey is a gang member.
Askwhy:
You generalize and sensationalize. Do I think there is a problem? Yes. Do I think it is the magnitude you would like us to believe? No. Do I think some of the administration views things through rose colored glasses and deal with things through the pollyanna syndrome? Yes. Do I think they all do? No. Do I think there is a lack of discipline in schools? Yes. Do I think there is a lack at home? Yes. But do I think all parents in general do not discilpine? No. I was a strong disciplinarian and am friends with a lot of people with school age children. I watch them interact and function and they really function quite well and take responsibility for their children and their actions. Now, not all parents are like that but you assume that ALL are. Parents need to take on more responsibility, I agree but it is not only in Oak Ridge, it is this entire nation. As an officer you see the worst and become negative about everything. You become suspicious because you deal with the worst of the worst daily but that is a small minority (although you would like us to believe us it is the majority). In the majority of people's world's that does not exist.
