Gypsy Moon Festival of Music

Saturday August the 16th rain date August 23rd from 7:00 till 10:00pm the Gypsy moon will be shining bright over the open air amphitheater at the Oak Ridge Civic Center, 1403 Oak Ridge Turnpike. The Oak Ridge Arts Council and the Department of Parks and Recreation and Thousand Suns Photography, will be the host to a caravan of traveling musicians who will be giving a free performance in town for the night. The list of performers are, the Jon Quintero Band, Cell5, Tennessee King Snakes, 3rd Obsession and, mini sets with Jay Storm and Jackson Mohr, Steve Grimsley, and Frost Bottom Boys. To make sure the travelers and guests won’t go hungry, Venice Pizza, MoonDollers Cafe, and Razzelberrys Ice Cream Lab will be offering their fairs for all. Come out and have some fun, bring folding chairs and blankets. Co sponsors include Peters Jewelers, Harmony Carpentry and World Webscapes.
Peter Mulvey will put on a concert at Grove Theater tonight at 7:30 with Liz and Tim from Norris as opening act if anyone is interested.

The Gypsy Moon Festival was very nice -- thanks for posting it here! Hubby and I took our younger two children (and the dog), and a good time was had by all.

I hope we see more of this.
