Unfortunately it is time to remind everyone to please review the agreement that you read prior to registering with this site. The speech, of some members, has become increasingly “abusive, harassing and hateful.”

“By registering on this discussion system you agree that you will not post any material which is knowingly false, inaccurate, abusive, hateful, harassing, sexually orientated, threatening or invasive of a person's privacy, or any other material which may violate any applicable laws.”

If you are unwilling to abide by the TOS for this site, please go away. I will be deleting those posts that appear to be contrary to the TOS and closing threads that have reached a point of no return, regarding the topic.
You do what you think you have to do, bb. I'll continue calling childish behavior childish. If it makes you feel manly to protect AW's boorish, partisan behavior just because it agees with your politics . . . .
It isn't about feeling manly 73. It is about preventing this forum from being dominated by the type of continually insulting, rude members that eventually folded that other forum.

You obviously feel very strongly about your opinions. No crime in that. I would just ask that you modify your language so you can fool us common folk into not understanding when you are insulting another member. As bright as you obviously are, that shouldn't be any trouble and we will all be happy.

You feel free to refer to behavior in general as childish, but if you refer to another member as childish that will be considered...yep you guessed it, abusive, harassing or hateful.
I get it. So when AW says something like "anyone with half a brain" could see his POV, after I've disagreed with him, the clear and unambiguous implication that he has just called me a halfwit isn't "abusive." But if I were to straighforwardly call him a halfwit, that would be "abusive."

Cute. I can certainly play this game. I'm glad it makes you happy.
This isn't a game 73 and no one is picking on you. This isn't the first time that your abusive and hateful language has been brought to your attention.
Jousting with me makes me neither happy nor unhappy, but it is becoming tedious and is a waste of our time.

This is simple. Please modify the way that you say things to people and there won't be a problem. Continue to insult people and you will be removed from this site permanently.

If you have any questions please feel free to PM me. There is no point in continuing this thread. That was the reason for my deleting all of the other posts in the thread.

Uh, BB, all he asked why the discrepancy in enforcement and pointed an example. And indicated that there is some sort of game. Here is a hint, games have rules. When one master's the rules they usually win.

Rules enforcement requires, sometimes, those involved be informed as to how they will be enforced. You have failed to do that IMHO.

And yes it makes you both angered and biased in your enforcement. It appears you have gone the opposite direction in moderation of the moderator at the other formum that remains nameless and was a reason for leaving that particular place and yet discuss topics and issues.

Heavy handedness is just as bad as nohandedness.

Yes, I did this openly on the board. Delete it if you wish. If so, we know where we stand though.

Do enjoy the rest of your day.

I don't think that there has been any "discrepancy in enforcement" and I also believe that he answered his own question, and he was correct. "...if I were to straighforwardly (sic) call him a halfwit, that would be "abusive.""

The TOS are not rules to a game that one wins or loses. They are rules that all members must abide by in order for everyone to feel welcome to participate in this forum.

Heavy handedness is certainly in the eye of the beholder, so if you are dissatisfied with this site, in any way, I will be more than happy to refund your entire membership fee and immediately stop those pesky monthly charges.

I won't delete your post or mine in this thread, but I won't waste anymore of my time debating this with you.

Now...you enjoy the rest of your day.
