I know this is county but since Oak Ridge is part of this county (even though the lord mayor doesn't think so) I thought this subject matter would go good here. If you have time on your hands please read
http://www.davidbolling.blogspot.com and see what this man represents. This is someone we need to encourage to go after the leadership, or should I say lack of leadership, we have in Anderson County. He is somebody who is looking out for the taxpayer not himself and his buddies. He will not profit from us as some do now but rather work for us. I talk about honesty and ethics in government and I feel David represents that. Look beyond the good ole boy facad with his flannel shirts and overalls that the lord mayor tries to portray and see what a weasel he truly is. He is a follower not a leader. He is like a puppet on a string for whomever is pulling them (usually Layton, CHUMP and Bill Aarwood). We need a true leader to carry this county through rough times. Call Mr. Bolling and encourage him to bring his honesty to our county. We really need it.

The word on the street is that a prominant business man is going to throw his hat in the ring for the county mayor's race. Guess what, he is a republican and if he decides to move forward will do it on the republican ticket in the primary. Looks like the existing count mayor is going to be hit from all ends. He probably won't make it to the general.
Dave Bolling is a class act and a man of his word; I hope (for our sakes) that he does decide to do this.
He's got my support. He has always been a man of his word. That is something you rarely see in politics.
I sincerely hope that Mr. Bolling is the person that he is presenting himself to be! I have liked what I have read from Mr. Bolling, however, I have been disillusioned of my once impression that honesty and integrity still beats in the hearts of some that seek public office. The vision of a white knight charging in to defend the villagers from a political tyrant prompts me to remember the difference between fairytale and reality. In today's reality is "someone to believe in" too much to ask for? I will remain hopeful!
We have all been disillusioned in the past. I hope what we see is what we get here. It appears he is honest and has integrity. To be honest, anything is better than what we have. But I think if we get Mr. Bolling we are getting the real thing.
