The TVA nuclear plants are designed to withstand a sizable earthquake that would destroy the surrounding area. If we get one that big, the nukes will be the least of our worries. You are probably reading about this in the pakistan news because reputable news sources wouldn't print it because there is no authentication. What is described therein, even if possible, would represent an act of war. Methinks someone has confused the plot of a James Bond film with real life.
