I know several pro-abortion people who changed sides after seeing details of how PBAs are performed and that got them thinking.

Dude, PBAs were banned in 2003, with the decision upheld by the Supremes last year. It's a dead argument. Let it go.

Nice try - if you read this cite you find that the problem is that the court interprets "health" as mental, psychological, familial, etc.

Notice how easily you can flip and flop? Yesterday you were talking about suicide as a leading cause of death in disturbed young women. Today, mental health is no concern of yours. No wonder Trina likes your line of argument.

Trina you are incorrect. A true pro-lifer does not believe in capital punishment, abortion, mercy killing or any means that takes a human life. Only God has the right to take a human life. If you do not believe that way you are not pro-life but rather anti abortion. A pro-choice can believe in whatever they choose that is why they are pro choice. This conversation is futile. Pro-choice and pro-life or anti-abortion, we are what we believe in and we can argue until the cows come home and we are not going to change. As I said, I did not want ot open up pandora's box.

You aren't really in much of a position to speak for what pro-lifers believe are you?

Qualification and insight never were requirements for you. Why do you expect more of others?

I am going to get on a soap box here and probably irritate a lot of people but I am going to say what I have to say and then be over it. Women, blacks and all minorities enjoy a better life style because of the children of the 60's. We changed this world. We protested and made change happen and the world would never be the same again. Some was for the good, some not. The young generation of today is a gutless generation. If it doesn't affect them well who cares. They enjoy their lifestyle because of us. If this Iraq war was in the 60's there would be protest everywhere but because there is no draft and it doesn't affect them, who cares.

That is because we have a gutless President who realizes that Iraq would be over in an instant if there were a draft. His has kind of a passive-aggressive policy. As usual, he likes to lead from behind.

Let's not hold our breaths....

Askwhy:

Do you think I only know pro-choice people? I am not as narrow minded as you, I am open to know and associate with people with many different views. As a matter of fact a dear friend of mine is heavily involved in the pro-life movement and holds a position of power, so when I speak it might be second handed but it is from someone who walks the walk and talks the talk. Believe me, it makes for some good converstaions at get togethers.

But I agree that we have our beliefs and we do not have to agree...Your belief is just wrong...

Or maybe yours...

Your current signature should read:
Choose Life, unless I don't feel like it.

True, but at least that would be honest, if it did.
Your narrow mindedness doesn't even deserve a response. You live in a different world than the rest of us. Good luck with your simple sad life.
If people would have worked within the system we would still be in Vietnam. The system benefited from the war and it would have never ended. It was those so called "hippies" who brought attention to the injustice of the war. Maybe that is what we need today to show the politicians how the public feels about the war instead of their little polls.
