Chief -
Thank you very much for taking the time to post the details as they have been known - here first.
I must dish out a megaspoon of R-E-S-P-E-C-T to you for stepping up to the plate and obtaining the proper licenses yourself.
Thank you and WE ALL look forward to the show!!

Chief:
GREAT JOB!!!! Loads of fun. Glad the rain did not scare the crowd away. If you did not have a good time at such a beautiful display, it was your own fault. Congrats are in order to th City of Oak Ridge and the Fire Department and I believe the lake is a better spot for the fireworks. Thanks for all the hard work, it was worth it.

Chief, thanks for a great evening of fireworks!
Yes, the lake is a far better place to have the fireworks; the air temperature is noticeably cooler, and the festival atmosphere was just great (until the storm drove the music away, anyway). Most of all, the reflection of the fireworks in the water gives you twice the bang for the buck.
We watched it from the water, and it was just wonderful.

Thanks for the wonderful show Chief!
The water front certainly is the best place for this annual event.

Thanks for the compliments, I am pleased you all (ya'll) enjoyed it. Other departments participating in the show were Parks and Rec (they dug the holes for the mortars, and of course manage the park), Public Works (two people set up the barrels, one assisted with show set up and shoot as well as clean up), and one employee who helped manage the perimeter, Finance has several people managing the perimeter. I think all enjoyed putting on the show for you. The show lasted 40 minutes, by my watch, and took about 10 hours by 10 people to set up and clean-up.
Thanks again for the compliments.
