Ah yes..... In a short while it will be time for round two of the "battle in the valley." I'm putting my money on the "valley" winning again. Any takers??
I am sure there will be plenty of Fireworks at your Trailer. Have you applied for your permit yet, or will you join in on the illegal Firework display, that Oak Ridge is known for?
I bet when the kids play "pin the tail on the donkey" at your house, you run the other way.
I bet when they play spin the bottle at your trailer you cheat.

Nothing wrong with that!
I guess when there are no fires or accidents he sits there and reads this. If you check, that is his MO. He used to contribute also but hasn't posted for awhile.
Don't have to wonder why. BTW, he has only contributed to one thread.
Trina honey...lighten up! Everything doesn't have to be so serious. It is healthy to laugh once in a while. I thought Blowing Smoke started a hilarious thread.
Besides...fireworks are serious...when you're a kid. Some of us are still kids at heart. Try not to worry so much...Be Happy!

If you don't have humor your lost. I agree Kermit we need to find more humor to survive. Without humor insanity sets in.
I have to admit, though BS needs a Social Enema, it is a funny thread. The thought of some kid shooting fireworks off of the top of his head at ORPD is unbelieveable, yet comic. Read the archived news report of July 5th, 2007 if you want a really good laugh.

It appears on this forum that insanity has already set in (with humor).
Right on, witchpoo, right on!
Sorry for the delay in responding, but I have been fulfilling the qualifications for the "Fireworks Display Operator" license, including a bit of study. I spent my Easter weekend in Ashburn, Georgia (between Macon and Valdosta) at the "Fire Ant Festival." I participated in my third required display prior to taking the written exam that I passed this afternoon. According to the State Fire Marshal's Office, I should receive the official license in "a couple of weeks." Whereupon I will immediately apply for a display permit.
The fireworks that the City bought and paid for are in a secure facility (not inside the OR City limits), and will be used on July 4, 2008. The City Manager wants to have the display near the Marina, and upon the state's approval of the site, a public announcement will be made.
