Did you all know there's a new sporting goods store here in Oak Ridge? I just found out about it...
It's called AC Athletics and it's in Jackson Square in the space previously occupied by New York New York Fashions.
It's apparently owned by a couple of young guys who graduated from ORHS and felt like there was a need for a place to buy things like shin guards, cleats, baseball equipment, etc. (Huh, wonder where they got that impression????
Anyway, sounds like a place I need to check out - spread the word! Anything that saves me a trip to Knoxvegas and keeps my tax dollars here makes me happy!
