Emile:
Haven't we gotten soft in our old age. If this is true I would hope that DCS would investigate the family situation. Teenagers are hard to raise but come on, when you leave bruises that is abuse. Wonder what was going on there. Ritter to the rescue.
Tacky is indeed the word to use. There are two sides to every story, and unforunately, this is just an attack on the Beauchamp family. Now if you want to start a thread called O.R. Gossip, lets go for it. I have some really good stuff on the backburner. The intent of Ernestine and others is mean spirited, disguised as an issue. Don't make me take off my hat and paste on mustache. Besides, I thought you were over the "Astronaut Diaper" remark. I guess not.
RE: The Oak Ridge Police Dept
I tried to work with ORPD a few years ago on a problem I had. I ended up taking the law into my own hands. They were just too oberburdened to deal with my habitual criminal. We may have to turn on the "Bat Signal" here in the Atomic City
Looks like Emile doesn't like the idea of the police officers doing what they're hired to do.
Sorry you're hurting for them Emile, but if you do something to another that causes a call to the police, a written report and a ride to the jail, there's a reason for it.
I am sure the Police did what they were supposed to do. We don't know if the kid made a false call becuase He/She did not get his/her way. That has happened to several people on this forum.
That's what courts are for Emile. The police tag em and the judge bags em.
My suggestion that you shy away from the "T" word had nothing to do with any past back and forth between you and I, Emile.
With your forum record, I'm just a bit surprised that this issue would get under your skin. The woman was arrested. What is the big deal about mentioning it here? I think you have a personal connection to this family and it bugs you. With this family's record of making trouble for other people, you might not find many folks sympathetic to your cause.
Daco,
Go back and read P.I .'s post where she is making fun of which daughter it might have been. What does that have to do with Domestic Abuse? It is way out of line. I should know. I can understand having a beef whith someone, but no reason to drag the whole family into it, especially minors.
I have no attachment to the family in question, nor do I have "A Cause"
Emile:
I think you are taking it the wrong way. There are two daughters and one is of the age where she would pull something like you described and one is younger. I was just asking if it were the younger or older child. There is no excuse to loose control to leave bruises if it is true. People are in jail for that. There are laws concerning that.
I am from the old school of spare the rod, spoil the child. My children were able to push buttons that sent me up the wall. The one thing I learned while raising children is that you don't react out of anger. If you do, you will hurt the child. It is the same with a spouse. You are the adult and you need to walk away until you are able to handle the situation without anger. If not, domestic violence probably will occur. There is no excuse for that.
No need to coward.
I didn't see any sarcasm in PI's quote to begin with. Emile got his feathers flustered and is trying to come up with a blame.
Wrong blog buddy! There was a crime committed or there wouldn't have been a call, report and/or arrest.

Where is the Police Report Pussycat?
