This time of year, we all get flooded with requests for donations. I thought I'd share this one in particular as I can personally attest to its immeasurable ROI.
UMUC has proudly served the educational needs of the U.S. military for more than 50 years. A broad array of undergraduate and graduate partnerships is available, making it easy to find the perfect solution to facilitate your educational needs.
The Military Scholarship and Support Fund
As the largest provider of postsecondary education to the military, UMUC continues to meet the diverse academic needs of our nation's armed forces and their families. Today, we enroll some 47,000 military students, stationed around the world. But despite the rising cost of a college education, military tuition benefits for active duty personnel remain the same - with no funds available to their family members. Thus, scholarships play an essential role in helping our soldiers, their spouses, and their children finance UMUC degrees. This year we will also begin offering "carryover" scholarship assistance to military personnel leaving the service and transitioning into civilian life.
