Man, this town needs a nice, non-chain coffee shop. Something like the good ol' Daily Grind.
It needs a meeting place, one that doesn't necessarily involve food.
Yes, it certainly does... my niece complains about that all the time. Poor car-less ORHS Senior that she is, and we hate the idea of her and her friends always coming to Knoxville for that, but that's the only place they have to go.
I would LOVE to do a coffee shop....with a little bit of $$$ backing (any takers????) - I think it would be a great hit. Kinda like a California cafe (decor like what you see on "Friends") with nuthin but coffee and chit-chat.....ahhhhhhh
