With Trick-or-Treating tomorrow night, we should all keep safety in mind for our little goblins. While everyone probably knows about the Tennessee Sex Offender Registry, there's another site that's much more useful (I think) because of it's map-based and color-coded representation: Family Watchdog.
Red dots on the map indicate people who were convicted of offenses against children. Click on the dot for details -- chances are, a child molester is a bigger risk than a 20 year old with a statutory rape conviction.
They're not supposed to be participating in any way, but it's nice to know which houses to avoid, just in case.
