Not that I agree or disagree the point is it should have never happened to begin with. I understand that it is a very emotional sport. I understand that attitudes run hot. I understand that it is a brutal sport.
The point being is somebody has to keep their cool and I believe that job is on the “Head Coaches” shoulders. I don’t have anything against the man. I don’t know him or his family and have heard that he is very well respected by the students at the high school.
I just wonder where “Some Peoples Heads Are” (i.e. ORS Administration), you have a elementary school teacher that is let go, fired, brought up on charges or what ever you want to call it today for trying to keep order in her class room but you have a football coach that gets into a shouting/pushing match with another coach from a different team on the football field in front of the crowd and all that comes out of it is an apology and a formal reprimand.
I guess I really don’t know/understand the power of “School Politics” and guess I never will. They seem to be saying,”Don’t Fear Your Local Schools are in Control”. I just have to wonder what would have happened had it been a local parent or student that might have done it. It more than likely would have ended up at the local lock down, a couple Boards of Education taking on the offender in court, banning of a student/parent from setting foot on OR schools or Anderson County schools property ever again and any of the other gory details that I don’t know or over looked.

I guess that is why it is called an opinion, because everyone does not agree as opposed to fact where it cannot be disputed. You are entitled to yours as I am to mine. Belittling someone because they don't agree with you is childish.

What is the matter with all of you? You know that there are always a different set of rules for Athletes than the general public.
