Why should they leave??? They stole it fair and square and we helped them. Last time I checked this was still America and freedom of speech. I can certainly agree that it was hardly "political correct" but the old broad IS eighty-nine. Cut her a little slack.

My reaction to this story was "Big Whoop". Like KR says, she's 89 for heaven's sake. And she's a reporter, not a politician, policy-maker, etc. Besides, how many of us have totally "Non-PC" thoughts and feelings and let them slip every now and then? I know I do about certain issues.
Well KR I suppose it depends on how far back you want to go into history to decide who stole what.
You folks are right. When I drive through Oak Ridge and have to dodge blue headed folks, I don't get angry and expect them to abide by the same rules that the rest of us have to follow. I cut them some slack.

Thanks for cutting us old geezers some slack, daco. But then, I pretty much follow the rules, except for the pc ones. I'll try to work on that......Maybe next year.
Sorry KR. I quit cutting rude old geezers any slack when I became one. This wasn't a manufactured problem. She stepped in it with both feet and regardless of her age, maybe because of her age, she should have shown a little more tack when asked about Israel.
This isn't about being "PC."
