After the block on this website by Anderson County (and at least two others belonging to people who post here) was lifted earlier this week, it was reinstated as of this morning.
The common thread on the banned sites seems to be discussion of double-dipping in the County Payroll, and some talk of investigating insurance kickbacks.
Yeah boy, the last thing we want to discuss on a public forum is governmental accountability. I'm surprised that Beauchamp hasn't filed suit already. That is what he does.
A. T. Toot-toot is brilliant. Those people at that courthouse have to be idiots. How do they continue embarrasing themselves the way they do? Maybe they should spend more time trying to provide County Commission with the information that they are requesting instead of playing now you see it, now you don't with the computer system. Impeachment might be in order, or is it called recall in county government? Where is our County Attorney when we need him? Is he aware of these games? I wonder if maybe you guys are getting too close for comfort.
I think day time TV has a spot for Anderson County Government. All this tells me is the mentality of the lord mayor and his entourage. What I would have to ask is what are they afraid of? If you are doing nothing wrong then why does any of this matter? It never ceases to amaze me of how childish they players in power are. From lawsuits to blocks, they continue to look like idiots.

I'll bet there are people out there that would make donations to pay the man to finally put all these allegations to rest one way or another. I think all anyone is looking for is honesty in government. Right now there are too many doubts about how honest things are. Knox County had an audit done by someone else and so many things must have been overlooked. This man seems to know what to look for and where to look. I applaud him for the effort he has put forward to clean up Knox County. It would have been great to have him when there were so many questions about the Probation Department. None of those questions were ever answered, they just dissolved the department. In my opinion that was a little shady.
This could go back to what Blowin Smoke was previously talking about. If we had a citizens oversight committee we could then proceed and put pressure on to make sure information requested, audits etc. are done correctly. Some time ago there was a committee called I think Citizens for Better Government. They were able to get information on many differant levels regarding County Government.

As we've witnessed, one person going on about an issue can be seen as nothing more than a pain. However, a group can make a difference.
